The Morning and Evening Hymns, with interludes

Ref. g 334

London G.W.BOWN 2 St.Martin's Church Yard

At this address ca.1824-1828   pp.2-3   Disbound, condition poor   Not in WorldCat

The morning hymn is by F.H. Barthélémon, though not acknowledged, the second, not to the tune by Tallis, the composer I don't know.  The Interludes are interesting.  The morning hymn has 7 verses as opposed to the 11 in the 'English Hymnal' - the evening hymn also has 7 verses - the first of which begins with the well known words  Glory to thee my God this night, for all the blessings of the light.
